FKA can help.  FKA's mediation and conflict solutions will help you to:

  • Embrace conflict as a normal part of a healthy work environment

  • Get a clearer understanding about their own bias toward the conflict they are engaged in

  • Actually change old patterns of dysfunctional fighting into productive working relationships

Training:

Conflict is one of the most misunderstood subjects in the workplace. We have training sessions to help individuals understand the value of conflict. While unhealthy conflict is still something we advise to avoid, there are productive conflicts that we should not avoid. The session is designed not only to learn the techniques, but also ready the person to go out and apply what they learn.

Individual sessions:

When a person is caught up in the heat of the conflict, it is difficult for them to get an objective perspective. We help individuals reframe the way they look at the conflict. They begin by looking as their sided of the conflict. They end with looking at the other side and preparing to communicate to the other party.

Group sessions:

It is not enough just to learn the techniques and plan out what we need to do individually. To close the loop, one must interact with the person or parties who they are in conflict with. If we cannot resolve the conflict through other facilitated sessions, we will take the parties offline to meet one on one. Here, we help the parties avoid getting emotionally hooked and get to a positive outcome.
